This track is based on Jiren's desperation to win and his conflicting views on power, in regards to Goku's.
Jiren believes that you can not rely on others, to gain power and strength you must shed your self of all attachments, such as companionship, friendship, love, and only focus on one's self, and you're own goal to reach.
With this he tries to shatter Goku's faith in his friends by directly attacking them, to take them out of the equation leaving Goku powerless. In his mind, there should not be any distractions on your own personal triumph to succeed.
My own view on how Jiren's mind may work.
